Coaches Timeline
This list is intended to be a guideline for coaches on what tasks should be done by when (this is only a guideline)
 
November – December - January
·         Registering your team or organization with the FSYFL
·         Start determining coaches for each team
·         Start organizing registration dates
·         Start advertising the program to your summer players and coaches
January 1st
·         Begin recruiting and registering your players and getting payments
·         Decide on your team name and colors
January 15th
·         Register your team by going to the FSYFL web site Registration Page
·         Start entering your players information into your Team web site
February 1st
·         Secure a practice facility
·         50% of your player registration payments should be into the FSYFL
·         Start developing your Team folder (Hard Cards/Birth Certs/Liability Forms)
·         Issue out Equipment
February 7th
·         Begin practice
·         75% of all payments should be into FSYFL
·         Start to do your Team Photos
·         Start to work on your Team File Folder materials
March 1st
·         Finalize last minute payments to FSYFL
·         Receive Jerseys from FSYFL
·         Attend Team File Folder Certification Meetings (Dates vary based on regions)
·         Receive FSYFL Schedules
March 6th
·         Certify last minute additional players and payments
·         First Game Weigh In (Please note players only weigh in and get certified
          ONCE there will be no more weigh ins after that.  Players simply get certified
          by their picture and number for the remaining games.)
March 13th
·         Second Game Weigh In for all newly added players (Players may be added up
          to the beginning of the 2nd game only.
